By using Fossil you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Eligibility

Fossil is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will close it. See our Privacy Policy for more on how age is (and isn't) handled.

Your account

Accounts are secured by a key rather than a password. You are responsible for keeping your key safe. If you enable two-factor, you can recover a lost key; without it, a lost key may mean a permanently inaccessible account. Keep at least one recovery method available.

Acceptable use

You agree to follow the Community Guidelines and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to compromise the service or other users. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Content and emulation

Games are provided through the Internet Archive and remain the property of their respective owners. Fossil streams and emulates them for convenience and makes no claim of ownership over that content.

No warranty

Fossil is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Emulation may be imperfect and games or features may not work as expected.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes and termination

These terms may change over time; continued use means you accept the current version. You may delete your account at any time, and we may suspend accounts that break the rules.
